Concept sketches and value painting for Druid Character design. The main reference for the character was Richard Harris. Other actors were studied as options. The first thing i do when starting a character design after reading the brief and notes on the character is to think in terms of Casting. Who would i cast for the role. I settled on Richard Harris as he was great in playing intense, brooding characters. Also his face has such character.
